In the process of soybean oil pretreatment, cleaning is first carried out to remove impurities in soybeans and provide a good foundation for subsequent processing. Then, cracking is carried out to reduce the particle size of soybeans and increase the surface area. Subsequently, conditioning/cooking is carried out to change the internal structure of soybeans by heating and adjusting the moisture. After that, flaking is carried out to press soybeans into thin flakes to further increase the surface area and improve the oil extraction efficiency. The optional expanding step can make the tissue structure of soybeans more loose and facilitate the outflow of oil. Then, through leaching, solvents are used to dissolve the oil and separate it from the solid residue. After evaporation and stripping, the solvent is removed to leave the oil. Finally, the extracted oil is refined to remove impurities, free fatty acids, pigments, etc., and improve the oil quality.
