10 TPH Corn Flaking Line Successfully Commissioned | Bellaex

On Dec. 23, 2025, a steam-flaked corn production line supplied by Bellaex for Ningxia Nongken Grain Group completed its first trial production run in Ningxia, China, according to the customer’s public project update. The trial run reported stable operation, with key indicators such as gelatinization performance and flake uniformity meeting the expected targets.

This project is configured as a 10 t/h industrial line package intended for continuous operation. Following installation and trial-run verification, the line is now handed over for customer production use, forming part of the customer’s upgrade from storage-only capability toward “storage + processing + service” operations.
The line integrates major steps from cleaning and conditioning to precision flaking and drying. Based on the customer’s published process description, corn is steam-conditioned at about 85–100°C to promote gelatinization and then formed into uniform flakes around 1–2 mm thickness. The core flaking equipment in the solution is the Corn Flaking Mill.
For ruminant feed applications, consistent flake thickness and controlled gelatinization help reduce ration variability and improve handling where raw material variability is common. If you are planning a similar build, the Steam Flaked Corn Production Line solution scope can be used to map utilities, process flow, and acceptance criteria before commissioning.

What this means for you (industrial buyers):
  • Put measurable trial-run acceptance criteria in writing: flake thickness distribution, fines rate, gelatinization target, outlet moisture after drying, and sampling/testing method.
  • Translate “10 TPH” into your operating plan: at continuous 24-hour operation, that equals up to 240 tons/day—then validate whether utilities (steam, drying, conveying) can support that duty cycle at your site.
  • Ask for a wear-parts and maintenance plan (rollers, bearings, seals, lubrication points, recommended spare list) so you can plan OPEX and uptime from day one.
If you’re building a new steam-flaked corn line or upgrading an existing one, share your target throughput, available steam/power, and desired flake spec——Contact Bellaex to request a configuration checklist and trial-run acceptance template.
