Brazilian Livestock Delegation Explores Modern Dairy Farming and Breeding Practices in Hebei

On August 4, 2026, Bellaex accompanied a Brazilian livestock delegation on a technical visit to the Leyuan Junfeng dairy farm in Tangshan, Hebei, providing the group with a firsthand look at large-scale dairy farming and production management practices in China.

The visit was made possible through multiple rounds of communication and coordination between Bellaex and the Leyuan Junfeng management team. Beyond arranging the visit, Bellaex also helped connect the delegation with the farm’s technical and management personnel, creating an opportunity for direct discussion on practical topics including feeding practices for lactating cows, breeding bull selection, and frozen semen technology.

01 | Visiting a Modern Large-Scale Dairy Farm

Leyuan Junfeng is a large-scale modern dairy operation in Tangshan, Hebei.

Accompanied by the farm’s management team and Bellaex, the Brazilian delegation visited key farming areas and gained a closer understanding of herd management, the production environment, and the daily operation of a large-scale dairy farm.

Rather than learning about China’s dairy industry only through technical materials or equipment specifications, the on-site visit allowed the delegation to observe how different facilities, management practices, and production activities come together in an operating dairy farm.

02 | Discussing Feeding Practices for Lactating Cows

Feeding management for lactating cows was one of the key topics discussed during the visit.

Based on the farm’s actual production practices, the delegation exchanged views with the Leyuan Junfeng team on how feeding and nutritional management are applied to lactating cows in daily operation.

The lactation stage places high demands on nutritional supply and feeding management. Feed ingredients, processing methods, and feeding strategies all need to be considered in relation to herd condition and production objectives.
